The Anointed Word for Today is not just another daily message sent to your inbox. This is an extraordinary word sent to you to accomplish the special purpose of helping you live a life of total victory in Christ.
An ordinary handkerchief cannot cure anyone, but when handkerchiefs were touched by the Apostle, Paul, the anointing on Paul’s life was transferred to them. When these handkerchiefs were sent to the sick and received and used in faith, God honored the anointing on Paul’s life by healing and delivering those people who received them.

11 God did extraordinary miracles through Paul, 12so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them. (Acts 19:11-12) |
There was no power in the handkerchiefs; they were simply a point of contact. The Anointed Word for Today is your point of contact, your handkerchief, which will release the anointing God has given me to set people free from bondages.
You can read the bible from Genesis to Revelation but unless the Holy Spirit anoints it, there will be no power to save, heal or deliver. Jesus is the Living Word of God but the effectiveness of His ministry on earth was due to the anointing of the Holy Spirit on His life.

God has placed the same Holy Spirit’s anointing on my life to deliver people from bondages. This anointing is released through His word that I speak and write in the name of Jesus.
How do I receive the Anointed Word? During my morning's devotions, I ask God for His special word for those who are to receive it today. I pray over the word He gives me, lay hands on it and ask God to send forth His word with the power of the risen Christ. As you receive and apply the Anointed Word for Today, remember Paul’s handkerchiefs and expect God to release the anointing for freedom that's on my life into your life.
